If you are planning an event (e.g. fundraiser, wedding, race, field trip) or to operate a business on LSCR land, you are required to obtain a Land Use Permit.

Application deadlines
The application deadline for each permit-type listed below is intended to denote the cutoff time for applications. Those wishing to operate earlier in the year, may need to submit prior to the listed deadline. Please note that at least 6 weeks notice must be given prior to the intended event or commercial program start date.
Permits
A limited number of permits will be issued annually. Only those whose proposed uses align with LSCR land management goals will be granted permits. All applications submitted will be reviewed for feasibility and the applicant will be notified within 6 weeks of approval or denial.

Note: We cannot guarantee that the facility or space booked will be vacant at the time of event. Metro Vancouver manages bookings to prevent multiple organized groups from booking at the same chosen time, however these areas are open to the public at all times, and it is the responsibility of the permit holder to negotiate space at the time of event.
