Metro Vancouver's Sustainability Innovation Fund (SIF) program supports projects undertaken by the Regional District, Liquid Waste, and Water functions that contribute to the region's sustainability, with an emphasis on innovation in service delivery.
Since 2015, projects funded wholly or in part by SIF, have been undertaken by Metro Vancouver staff in coordination with project partners. Annually, Metro Vancouver staff submit applications for project funding, which are approved by the Board in the Spring of each year.
