    The picnic shelter is wheelchair accessible.  The washrooms are 150 metres from the shelter over grass / gravel surface and are NOT considered accessible. Parking is within 50 metres of the picnic shelter over grass and gravel surfaces. 
  • Guidelines
    • No staked tents & no staked equipment
    • Special equipment including battery powered generators allowed by permit, subject to approval
    • No alcohol
    • No power
    • No amplification
    • A reminder that alcohol is not allowed in regional parks, except in indoor facilities (by permit only).      
    • Please use wildlife-friendly decorations such as paper pinwheels, crepe pompoms, reusable banners, streamers and buntings. Balloons are bad for wildlife such as birds and turtles that can mistake them for food (and may die as a result). Also, many animals get tangled up in balloon strings.

Reservations

  • You may reserve ​up to 1 year in advance.
  • ​​Reservations are available from 7:30 am until 30 minutes before park closing. View a summary of all park hours or check individual park pages.

To request a picnic shelter, follow these 5 easy steps:

  1. Create an account or sign in
  2. Click “Facility Use Requests” in top menu to view availability
  3. Select a picnic shelter and a date
  4. Fill in the reservation form
  5. Add to cart, check out, and pay
  • We will review your request and contact you if we need more information.
  • ​​Please allow up to 5 business days to receive your approved permit by email.
  • ​​If your requested day is 10 days or less from now, skip those steps and phone 604-432-6352 (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm).

Cancellation policy

  • ​More than two months prior to the rental date: $25 cancellation fee
  • Two months or less prior to the rental date: no refund
