When photographing in regional parks, follow these guidelines to help protect the park’s natural and heritage features and ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Parking
- Park in designated parking lots only – no roadside parking or blocking gates or entrances.
- No parking for limousines and chartered buses.
Props and special equipment
- Keep props and equipment minimal (e.g. light shields, tripods). Large setups require a
special event permit.
- No smoke bombs, confetti cannons, or similar devices.
No drones
Shared use (no exclusive access)
- A photography permit does not grant exclusive use of park areas.
- Be respectful of other park users and avoid blocking trails or monopolizing spaces.
- Some areas may be unavailable due to events, programs, or reservations.
Stay on trails
- Photography is only allowed on maintained areas and designated trails.
- Off-trail areas (e.g. forests, tall grass) are off-limits for environmental protection.
Equestrian safety
- Be mindful of your proximity to equestrian trails and facilities. Horses can be frightened by equipment and props. A startled horse may throw its rider causing potential serious injury to both.

- Photographers are accountable for their clients' actions and must ensure all park rules are followed.
