Metro Vancouver Housing is moving forward with the second phase of its expansion under the 10-Year Plan to build new and redeveloped homes across the region. With funding support from the Province, through BC Housing, we are on track to deliver 2,000+ new and redeveloped affordable rental homes over the 10 years.

As one of the largest affordable housing providers in the region, Metro Vancouver Housing recognizes both the need and opportunity to increase and renew our supply of affordable rental housing. This can be done through redevelopment of existing properties, and through
partnerships with public, private and non-profit sectors. One example of how we partner is on our new development sites, where Metro Vancouver Housing builds and operates new affordable rental housing on municipally-owned land.
