Metro Vancouver and kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) First Nation are working with Trans Mountain to ensure the site is restored.<br></p><p>Visitors should expect minor delays near the junction of Lougheed Highway and ƛ̓éxətəm​ Road/Colony Farm Road. Flat with one steep section to reach the dyke. Mundy Creek Trail is pedestrian-only; dyke trails are shared with cyclists. Views of Mundy Creek, Coquitlam River, and habitat enhancement areas. By keeping your dog leashed and out of sensitive habitat areas, you help protect park wildlife. Dyke trails and the trail along the western boundary are open to cycling and shared with hikers. Cyclists yield to pedestrians. </div><div><br></div><div>Cycling is <strong>not permitted </strong>on Garden Trail, Mundy Creek Trail, ƛ̓éxətəm Road Trail, or in the Community Gardens. Cyclists are required to walk bikes on pedestrian-only trails. </div><div><br></div><div>A section of Home Farm Dyke Trail south of the Millennium Bridge is closed until further notice. Bears may also pass through the park from time to time. Where it meets Mundy Creek Trail, the trail surface is loose gravel. At the Main Entrance, access to Home Farm Dyke Trail via the roadway is also gravel. Park visitors with mobility challenges, wheelchairs or strollers are permitted to use the closed section of the Home Farm Dyke Trail.<br></p> <p>Wilson Farm Dyke Trail has a semi-firm surface with some softer sections of loose gravel. There is a small threshold on the bridge to get to Wilson Farm Dyke Trail from Garden Trail. Junctions at the Millennium Bridge and Pumphouse Trail have gravel surfaces. The northeastern exit to Shaughnessy St and the exit via Pumphouse Trail have steep slopes (up to 24.3%).</p> <p>​Garden Trail has some loose gravel, several steeper slopes (up to 14% for 2.3 m), ​and the trail narrows (<810 mm) in some sections due to encroaching grass. The trail ends at a bridge with one step on both sides, and stairs to Home Farm Dyke Trail.<br></p> <p>Mundy Creek Trail has a semi-firm surface with loose gravel in some areas. Some slopes are greater than 10% and the trail narrows (< 8​​10 mm) in some areas. There are steep slopes (up to 19% for 5 m) on both ends of the trail.<br></p> <p>ƛ̓éxətəm Road Trail<strong> </strong>(formerly Colony Farm Road Trail)​ is flat with a steep slope (18% for up to 5 m) to access the Mundy Creek parking lot. The trail is surfaced with coarse gravel and is soft/loose in some areas. The path narrows (< 810 mm) in some areas and may become muddy when wet.<br></p></div><div class="ExternalClassE9A239303E3440B7872C4BE1D04BCF59"><div><p>One electric vehicle charging station is available in the main parking lot. Charging​ is free.
