Balloons can be harmful to wildlife, especially birds, which may get tangled in balloon strings. Other animals such as turtles can mistake balloons for food and may die as a result. <br></li></ul><p>The reservable section of Centennial Beach sits within the designated area where adults may consume alcohol, 11:00 am until sunset. <a href="/services/regional-parks/Documents/boundary-bay-regional-park-alcohol-allowed-area-centennial-beach-map.pdf" target="_blank" title="Alcohol-allowed area – Centennial Beach map">​ Alcohol-allowed area – Centennial Beach map</a>.
