Facilities include an on-site caretaker, dining area and dorms accommodating up to 40 youth in bunks, a common room with fireplace, heated outdoor pool and parking.<br></p></div>

Balloons are bad for wildlife such as birds and turtles that can mistake them for food (and may die as a result). Also, many animals get tangled up in balloon strings.</li></ul> <br></div>

Construction behind Camp Capilano

<div class="ExternalClassA260154782E14EE8816832D39278EE04">Construction is underway behind Camp Capilano to build a new parks service yard. Work happens on weekdays from 7 am to 5 pm. During these hours, campers may see or hear some construction activity, but impacts should be minimal. Outdoor areas at Camp Capilano remain open. At times, access to Pipeline Trail may require a short detour. Please use alternate routes, follow all safety signs, and keep a safe distance from the construction area.<br></div>
