The six-storey building will have approximately 81 new rental apartments for low to moderate income families, seniors, and people with disabilities.</p><h2>Partners in affordable housing</h2><p>The Riverside Drive site is owned by the District of North Vancouver. It is in the Maplewood neighbourhood, which is designated as a Town Centre in the District’s Official Community Plan. <strong>Accessibility:</strong> All homes will be either accessible or meet universal design standards. This will support people with disabilities and support seniors to age in place.</li><li>
<strong>Affordability:</strong> All homes will provide some level of affordability and the building will be mixed income for low to moderate income working households.</li><li>
<strong>Amenities:</strong> Indoor and outdoor tenant amenities will provide flexible, multi-use spaces for people of all ages and include features such as an indoor amenity room, outdoor plaza and seating, attractive landscaping, and secure bike storage.</li><li>
<strong>Unit features:</strong> All units will include in-suite laundry, in-suite storage, and kitchen appliances (fridge, stove, dishwasher).</li><li>
