Manor House | Manor House | <div class="ExternalClassB0B08EE23B104F9395096CAA6714BBC4"><p>Metro Vancouver, in partnership with FortisBC, is undertaking a deep energy retrofit project to increase energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve tenant well-being at Manor House, an affordable rental building in the City of North Vancouver with 50 homes, originally built in 1972.</p><p>Upgrades to the building envelope (walls, windows, doors, and insulation) and mechanical systems (heating, hot water, and ventilation) are projected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 66 per cent and reduce energy usage by 56 per cent.</p><p>Beyond making the building more sustainable and reducing energy costs, the upgrades will also modernize the exterior appearance and extend the life of Manor House for another 50 years.
