Closures August 18 – September 3, 2026, due to parking lot and picnic area workClosures August 18 – September 3, 2026, due to parking lot and picnic area work<div class="ExternalClassAE05148A0B5A4D7198F154007A2EECF3"><p>​During August 18 to September 1, the picnic area and north side of the parking lot will be closed. Vehicles can park in the south section of the lot; however, horse trailers cannot be parked here during the work.  Horse trailer parking is available at nearby Campbell Valley and Aldergrove regional parks.</p><p>On September 2<sup>nd</sup> and 3<sup>rd</sup>, the entire parking lot will be closed to vehicles.  People can still walk in, ride horses, or cycle into the park on the entrance trails.</p><p>Please keep safely back from the equipment and construction area and follow directions provided by signs and crews.​<br></p></div>South Langley Regional Park

A section of this trail – managed by the Township of Langley – goes past the park, following a route between Campbell Valley Regional Park and Aldergrove Regional Park. It is a shared use trail, popular with equestrians, hikers, and cyclists.​<br></p></div><div class="ExternalClassAF0B5C340F0F4CD6A3803DC1717835D4"><p>Cycling is allowed only on South Langley Regional Trail that runs through part of this park. Cyclists can cycle from here to Campbell Valley Regional Park and Aldergrove Regional Park via the South Langley Regional Trail.</p><p>Expect to encounter horses, joggers, hikers and dogs on the South Langley Regional Trail. Cyclists should slow down and yield to pedestrians and equestrians. </p><p>Horses, being prey animals, are easily scared by sudden and fast approaches of cyclists and that can endanger their riders. Horses recognize human voices, so talk to the horse and rider to let the horse know you are not a threat. <br></p></div><div class="ExternalClass2E8C6A7AF5F444F9A392D5171628FD86"><p>You can ride your horse to the park and through the park along the South Langley Regional Trail. There are hitching posts at the park entrance.</p><p>You and your horse may encounter cyclists and dog walkers, so please pay attention to your horse because it may hear and sense others before you do; stay calm as it helps your horse to remain calm; communicate with other trail users on how to share the trail with your horse; and go slow as you pass others.<br></p></div><div class="ExternalClass022C65666ACB4DA9A874885E5A6421E2"><p>Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times. Please scoop your dog's poop and dispose of it properly.<br></p><p>Prepare your dog for encountering horses at this park, so that it will not frighten horses. A scared horse may throw its rider and injure the rider. Teach your dog to yield to equestrians. It has grab bars inside​.</p><p>​​​​<strong>Trail Ac​​cessibi​lity:</strong></p><p>Irene Pearce Trail is 1.2 km. Most of the loop trail is level, fine gravel, one to two metres wide, with gentle small hills. However, the two entrances are on short, steep slopes.</p><p>The section of South Langley Regional Trail from the parking lot to the Irene Pearce Trail entrance is relatively flat, mostly graveled surface, and one to two metres wide.
