Royal Avenue Pump StationRoyal Avenue Pump Station

The Royal Avenue Pump Station is part of critical sewer infrastructure located at Quayside Park in New Westminster. The Royal Avenue Pump Station safely moves wastewater from New Westminster to the Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant in Delta. Metro Vancouver is upgrading the Royal Avenue Pump Station to accommodate regional growth and as part of our commitment to protect public health and the environment.

Metro Vancouver began by upgrading pumps inside the pump station to make them more reliable and efficient. Followed by the construction of a new electrical room to support the newly installed pumps. During these upgrades, a short section of sewer was also replaced to improve the pump station’s overall operations.

Fact Sheet – Royal Avenue Pump Station Upgrade

City of New WestminsterProject
