Malaspina Village | Malaspina Village | <div class="ExternalClass1B35968C64B64C3B88CC1656F5E2EAFD"><p>Metro Vancouver Housing is developing new affordable rental homes through a phased redevelopment project at Malaspina Village, located at 1144 Inlet Street, in the City of Coquitlam’s City Centre neighbourhood. The first phase of redevelopment will be located on the north side of the site and will consist of two buildings with 170 new units for low to moderate income families, seniors, and people with disabilities. The southern portion of the site will continue to house existing tenants until ready for future redevelopment. As part of the first phase of redevelopment, Metro Vancouver Housing will be pursuing Development Permits for the property as a whole, including the southern portion of the site which will include an additional three buildings with approximately 303 residential units, to be constructed at a later date.

<strong>Accessibility:</strong> All homes will be either accessible or meet universal design standards. This will support people with disabilities, and support seniors to age in place.</li><li>
<strong>Amenities:</strong> Indoor and outdoor tenant amenities will provide flexible, multi-use spaces for people of all ages and include features such as a lounge area, shared kitchen, outdoor plaza and seating, attractive landscaping, and community gardens.</li><li>
