| Heather Place C | Heather Place C | <div class="ExternalClass2ACCC79462024C3DA0B1B5207F526971"><p>Metro Vancouver Housing is developing new non-market rental homes through a phased redevelopment of Heather Place, located in Vancouver’s Fairview neighbourhood. The first phase, Building A, opened in July 2020 and added 67 new homes. The second phase, Building B, opened in 2026, adding 87 additional homes. The third phase, Building C, located at 2933 Heather Street, will provide more for low- to moderate-income families, seniors, and people with disabilities.<br></p><ul class="fa-ul"><li>

<strong>Sustainability:</strong> The building will be designed to meet the City of Vancouver's <a href="https://vancouver.ca/green-vancouver/zero-emissions-buildings.aspx" target="_blank">Zero Emissions Building</a> pathway, balancing affordability with energy-efficient design to support tenant comfort and climate action.</li><li>
<strong>Accessibility:</strong> All homes will be either accessible or meet universal design standards. This will support people with disabilities and support seniors to age in place.</li><li>
<strong>Affordability:</strong> All homes will provide some level of affordability and the building will be mixed income for low to moderate income working households.</li><li>
<strong>Amenities:</strong> Indoor and outdoor tenant amenities will provide flexible, multi-use spaces for people of all ages and include features such as an indoor amenity room, outdoor plaza and seating, attractive landscaping, and community gardens. Secure bike storage, bike repair area, and car share will also be available.</li><li>
<strong>Unit features:</strong> All units will include in-suite laundry, large in-suite storage, kitchen appliances (fridge, stove, dishwasher), vinyl plank flooring, and balconies/patios.<br></li></ul></div> | | | | <div class="ExternalClass4B170036BB124D829A884563C3352FB4"><p>Tenants and community members were engaged before and during the rezoning for the entire Heather Place site, which occurred during the design of the project.
