Licence Applications in Progress

Metro Vancouver licenses private solid waste facilities that are located within the Greater Vancouver Sewerage & Drainage District (GVS&DD). This process includes approval by the municipality where the facility is located, and consideration of comments from the municipality and the public.

Applications for licences are evaluated based on the requirements in the GVS&DD Municipal Solid Waste and Recyclable Material Regulatory Bylaw No. 181, 1996 (Bylaw 181).​​​
