(“Aqua-Pak") is a facility that manufactures and distributes insulative packaging and insulative construction industry products made from Expandable Polystyrene (EPS). Aqua-Pak is applying for authorization to discharge air contaminants from the processing of EPS. Raw EPS is loaded into a pre-expander unit and is heated to achieve a specified density. Once expanded, the material is transported to a moudling machine via pneumatic conveyor. The expanded EPS is then injected into a product specific mould and heat is applied again.
