- Meet and be mentored by students and community leaders of all ages who share a passion for sustainability
- Exchange ideas, strategies, and tools for action
- Receive support to develop a collaborative action project
- Practice leadership and communication skills
- Be part of a fun and dynamic group
Additional benefits (upon request):
- Volunteer service hours
- A certificate of participation
- Reference letter
Applicants are asked to participate in all scheduled sessions. CHAMP kicks off with a multi-day camp August 16 – 19 at Camp Capilano, and then continues in the fall with after-school online sessions (September 15, October 6, November 3, 17, and 24, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm), and in-person sessions (September 26, October 3, 24, November 14, and December 5 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm).
