Views of the Fraser River are the highlight at this regional park, which consists of two small sites at opposite ends of the island. At the eastern end is Mann Point. At the western tip, you’ll find Robert Point with river views as well as picnic tables, washrooms and trails.
Access to Barnston Island Regional Park is by ferry. Check the ferry status before heading to the park at British Columbia, Barnston Island Ferry website for travel advisories, schedules, and restrictions. Please leave your vehicle on the mainland side of the ferry as there are no public parking areas on Barnston Island.

Barnston Island is a rural community.Please show courtesy and yield to farm vehicles. Except for parkland and road rights-of-way, all lands including the riverfront are private. Please respect and keep off private property.
Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times. Please scoop your dog's poop and dispose of it properly.

Fishing in Metro Vancouver regional parks is subject to regulations set out by the Provincial Government for fresh water and by the Federal Government for tidal waters.
The BC Ministry of Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture can provide information about freshwater fishing regulations and licenses.
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans can provide information about fishing in tidal waters and licenses.
Trails, toilets and picnic tables are wheelchair accessible.
