When hiring contractors or equipment, it is recommended that you request the equipment engine Tier and confirmation of compliance with the Bylaw.
All Tier 0 and Tier 1 engines are required to display a unique Metro Vancouver registration number that can be entered into the
Engine Lookup Tool on our website to determine if an engine is authorized to operate.
